It's been said that a picture speaks a thousand words, and it is my intention of posting this short blog with a single subject matter - father of the bride.
I guess every father of a bride feels the same way. They say you "loose" a daughter, but on the other hand, you "gain" a son :)) Now that depends on every father's perspective don't you think?
During one of the weddings we covered in April, while people are buzzing around during the preparation, this father of the bride found a quite corner and a brief moment of silence for himself. He probably was in deep thoughts and recollection as he didn't notice me lurking to aim my camera.... I felt for the man. I have a 13-yr-old daughter and looking ahead in the future, I can picture myself in this man's shoes.

I sound corny you say... but I think no matter how tough a father is, moments like these hits your soft spot.
Take this happy and cheerful father, for example (sitting next to his daughter- the bride). While we were chatting outside the suite waiting for the gals to be ready, he confidently told me that he will never cry during the wedding... I just nodded and gave him a smile.
Mind you, during the Bride-Father dance number, the emotions were running high, and this gentleman broke to tears. Kudos to all the fathers of the brides out there!!
A daughter will always be your baby girl no matter how old she grows ;)
